Ascendia and InfoCons are launching the \"First Aid, a Chance to Life\" campaign in partnership with the Bucharest-Ilfov Ambulance Service, the National Federation of Ambulance Romania, the Bucharest Rescue Society Association and the National Parents Federation (FNP).<\/p>

Ascendia, a leading provider of digital learning solutions, and InfoCons announce the launch of the campaign \"First Aid, a Chance to Life\" in partnership with the Bucharest-Ilfov Ambulance Service, the National Federation of Ambulance Romania, the Bucharest Rescue Society Association and the National Parents Federation (FNP). This initiative aims to offer free First Aid courses to all educational institutions in Romania.<\/p>

The First Aid course offered by Ascendia and its partners has as its main objective to train members of educational institutions in recognizing an emergency and acting appropriately to improve the victim's condition. Those enrolled in the course will receive detailed guidance on the fundamentals of first aid, including the correct steps and actions to avoid in order not to worsen the victim's situation.<\/p>

The course program covers important topics such as airway obstruction, cardio-respiratory arrest, the use of a semi-automatic external defibrillator, unconsciousness with preservation of breathing, where intervention in the first seconds is critical and can make the difference between life and death.<\/p>

\"This course is part of our commitment to supporting educational communities and helping to increase safety in schools and other educational institutions. We believe that good first aid training can make all the difference in an emergency. We believe it is vital that teaching and non-teaching staff are trained and able to intervene in case of need, thus contributing to the safety and well-being of school communities,\" says Alex M\u0103lureanu, CMO and co-founder of Ascendia.<\/p>

Teachers are invited to register on the platform until July 9, 2023 by filling out the registration form available at the following link: https:\/\/formare.elearning.ro\/register<\/a>. InfoCons is a non-governmental organization that defends consumer rights and promotes consumer education.<\/p>

Ambulan\u021ba Bucure\u0219ti, a key partner in this campaign, provides support and expertise in emergency medical care.<\/p>

The National Federation of Parents (FNP) is a representative organization of parents in Romania that advocates for the rights and interests of children and their families.<\/p>

\"The FNAP welcomes this campaign aimed at training first aid skills throughout the education system. We believe that this course is very important for the safety of our children and for the prevention of tragedies that can be avoided by the prompt and correct intervention of those present. This course is a concrete example of how the partnership between school and family can work effectively for the common good\", says Cristache Iulian, president of the federation.<\/p>

The course will be available on the CoffeeLMS platform, developed by Ascendia, at formare.elearning.ro. The course program consists of three e-learning modules presenting first aid for adults, children and special situations.<\/p>

At the end of the course, participants will be able to take the necessary measures to protect themselves, the victim and others around them. They will be able to correctly assess the victim's condition in order to make the right decisions and will be able to check the victim's state of consciousness and breathing. Most importantly, they will be trained to provide first aid in case of cardiac arrest and airway obstruction.<\/p>

Ascendia and its partners are committed to developing this campaign to make a real difference in the community. By disseminating the first aid course in the educational system, we want every person in Romania to have a better chance of survival in the event of a medical incident.<\/p>
