From a dream to real impact
How teachers shaped LIVRESQ and put Romania at the forefront of European digital education
When we started this journey, we had a simple but ambitious dream: to create digital tools that really help education in Romania. We knew that technology could transform the way we learn, but we also needed an essential partner - the community of teachers who would use these tools in schools.
Today we are happy to say that our dream has not only come true, but has exceeded all expectations. The experience gained here, at home, was recognized at the highest European level, Ascendia (the caring parent and unwavering supporter of our educational LIVRESQ) being the only Romanian company invited to participate in the European Commission's expert group that defines the standards for digital educational content at continental level.
Teachers: architects of success LIVRESQ
But this success is not Ascendia's alone, it is due in large part to the wonderful LIVRESQ community, which now numbers over 150,000 teachers in Romania and Moldova. These teachers have been and continue to be active partners in the development and refinement of the platform.
Every feedback, every suggestion and every modification proposal has been carefully listened to and integrated to make LIVRESQ a product more and more adapted to the real needs of the classrooms. This is our pride: a Romanian product modeled and perfected by teachers for teachers.
What does LIVRESQ offer to teachers?
On the platform, teachers find an inexhaustible resource of over 81,000 diverse educational materials, from interactive lessons and digital textbooks to online courses and ready-to-use pedagogical templates. Of these, over 20,000 materials are public and editable, offering complete freedom for customization and adaptation.
LIVRESQ is more than just a platform: it is a collaborative space where teachers can create, share and adapt resources, encouraging innovation and the sharing of best practices among teachers. In this way, education becomes more dynamic and more connected to students' reality.
European recognition
Recent, article published by Edupedu emphasizes that Ascendia, through LIVRESQ, is a success story in the digital transformation of education, being the only Romanian company involved in the European Commission's Expert Group on Digital Educational Content. These experts work to set standards to ensure the quality and efficiency of digital resources used in schools across Europe.
This recognition is not only a validation of our work, but also a responsibility that we take very seriously: to continue to be a pillar of support for the education community.
Thanks and gratitude to teachers
Dear teachers, without you this story would not have been possible. Thank you for your trust to try LIVRESQ, for your active participation in building this community, and for the contributions that have made the platform so valuable.
Together, we have demonstrated that Romanian digital education can compete and even lead at European level, providing students with a modern, accessible and tailored learning experience.
