Regulation for the realization of the documentation for the homologation by the Romanian Ministry of National Education of the lessons realized on the LIVRESQ platform

Preamble

In its endeavor to provide quality digital educational materials to the teaching community and ultimately to children, Ascendia S.A. offers interested teachers the technical-administrative support necessary for the Ministry of Education (MoE) to approve LIVRESQ digital lessons. This approach comes as a natural continuation of Ascendia's initiative to offer free LIVRESQ Academic licenses to interested teachers.

LIVRESQ is an integrated platform for creating, publishing, editing, consulting and managing online interactive lessons, digital textbooks and eLearning courses.

LIVRESQ is a fully responsive online platform, adapted to work on a multitude of terminals and screens, from desktop to smartphone. The LIVRESQ platform can be used to create interactive digital lessons which can then be viewed using any browser, without the need for a LIVRESQ account. The interactive nature of the lessons is given by the presence, in addition to the text, of elements that require interaction with the reader, such as: images, image galleries, videos, audio clips, quizzes, quizzes, tests, animations, simulations, etc., which can be launched/viewed in the body of the lesson or in pop-up windows. An interactive book can also contain hyperlinks to other websites or other sections of the digital lesson.

The approval of LIVRESQ digital lessons is done by the Ministry of National Education following the submission of an application according to the legal procedure for the approval of educational media in digital format. Ascendia offers commercial service for the preparation and submission of the homologation file for the lessons developed by teachers certified as LIVRESQ Educational Software Developers. In addition, for homologated lessons, Ascendia provides the technical service necessary for the distinct marking of these lessons in the LIVRESQ public library, both visually and with the ME homologation number, as well as the issuing of a homologation certificate.

Art. 1. Approval can only be requested for lessons produced by teachers who have been certified as LIVRESQ Educational Software Developers. 

Art. 2. A lesson can have one or more co-authors. Each of the co-authors must have the LIVRESQ Educational Software Creator certificate in order for the lesson to be submitted for approval.

Art. 3. If the teacher/teachers have not obtained the LIVRESQ Educational Software Creator certificate, the lesson will NOT be accepted by Ascendia to be sent for approval. If the service fee has been paid, it will be refunded.

Art. 4. The average deadline for granting a resolution (approval or non-approval) is 90 working days from the date of submission of the file. The file shall be submitted to the M.E. only after all the necessary conditions for submission have been fulfilled:

• The teacher obtained the diploma of Educational software creator LIVRESQ;
• Pay the fee by registering your order on the provider's website
• The lesson link was provided in the order form

Committees do not meet during national school vacations and the average resolution time may exceed 90 working days. For certain subjects in very specific curricular areas, the time taken for the meeting of the approval committees at the Ministry of Education may exceed 90 working days, depending on the number of papers received for examination.

Ascendia S.A. cannot be held responsible for any delays in the response by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

Art. 5. Ascendia S.A. submits applications for approval on a monthly basis. The date when these applications are submitted is made public through the company's communication channels (website, newsletter, WhatsApp, Facebook). 

Art. 6. In the case of type-approval, Ascendia will issue a Digitally signed certificate with an authorized signature attesting that its lesson is approved by the M.E. The certificate has a unique Ascendia registration number and a unique lesson approval number granted by the M.E.

Art. 7. An approved lesson must remain online in the LIVRESQ library in the form in which it was approved. Any subsequent modification of the lesson by the author generates a new form of the lesson, which is NOT an APPROVED lesson (nor the associated markings).

Art. 8. Each lesson approved through this procedure will remain in the free public library of LIVRESQ for a period of 3 years and cannot be deleted by the author during this period.

Art. 9. If the lesson is not approved, the author of the lesson may receive comments from the M.E. that will allow him/her to make the appropriate adjustments so that he/she can reapply for approval of the corrected lesson, if he/she so wishes. M.E. does not always provide these comments, therefore Ascendia is not responsible for their existence or logic.

Art. 10. A lesson can be submitted to the approval committee a maximum of 3 times (including the first application). For each of these applications the teacher will pay the full documentation preparation fee to Ascendia.

Art. 11. Ascendia is not responsible for the approval or non-approval of the lesson, the technical-pedagogical approval criteria being the exclusive prerogative of the ME commissions.

Art. 12. If, after payment of the approval preparation fee, the MoE modifies or cancels the procedure for the approval of the educational media (lessons), so that the procedure becomes unpredictable or impossible, Ascendia will refund the full fee for the preparation of the documentation for approval.
